“…give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.” Psalm 86:11
Father, I cannot turn my heart to you properly with a trueness that you demand… an undivided heart… unless you give that heart to me. In mercy please change my heart, renew my mind and conform me to the image of my Savior.
Unless you do this Father, I am helpless to change. You alone can give me an “undivided heart.” I trust you. You desire to give me a heart that adores only you. As I receive this heart from you, and as it pleases you, I turn its affections back to you in praise.
