Welcome

I have experienced chronic pain since November 20th. It affects the right side of my face, my jaw, my teeth and ear. I have been hospitalized at Mayo Clinic for pain management for two days last week. Right now, the medical community is kicking me to the dental community, and the dental community is telling me my teeth are perfectly fine. I have an appointment with my primary care doctor at Albert Lea Medical Center on Tuesday at 10:45, and then another appointment with my oral surgeon later that day at 3:10. My oral surgeon has been wonderful and compassionate. He said he may be ordering a bone scan on my jaw later this week at Mayo because though rare, he is concerned now about possible jaw necrosis. But no one really knows anything yet. I just know that I’m in chronic pain, barely managed by narcotics.
